Fundraiser for a Friend

Thank you so much for volunteering the space at your yoga studio and your time to teach the class for my “yoga fundraising” event.  I have received many calls from my friends praising the experience.  I thought Buffy did a wonderful job; the class was just the right mix of challenge and beginner moves to keep everyone interested and energized.  I forgot how much I love yoga!!!!  I am committed to coming to Buffy’s Friday classes (although I’ll be out of town this Friday) – Thank you so much for your support.  I know that neither of you know me at all; and that this event was a “leap of faith” for you; thank you for trusting me and giving me the opportunity to help my friend by raising money for her worthy cause.

Vital's Greatest Gifts- Steve Eason

Thanksgiving is our most favorite holiday at Vital. It conjures images of festivity, good food, community and gratitude, gratitude for our practice of yoga and for the amazing community we have built together. This month, one member of our great community, in particular, deserves our gratitude. Steve Eason has been delighting us with his generosity for years, in countless ways and offerings. Sometimes he donates food for platters of celebration filled with cheeses, crackers, and fruit, others he assists yogis in financial need to practice. Recently he purchased two tickets to see Deepak Chopra, one for himself, and another for an unsuspecting and fellow practitioner. What a beautiful gesture! He is always generous with his time and shares us with his wisdom, humor, and sense of purpose. Steve has truly become a teacher for our Vital community. The happiness we see emanating from Steve is testimony to the one of the universe’s principles; that when we bestow our gifts on others, we open ourselves to the greatest, purest joy. This month, Vital Yoga would like to offer Steve Eason his practice for free. The gift of yoga is one we know to be fulfilling, joyful, and spirited. Thank you for everything, Steve. See you in class!
